Following Washington's 38-21 victory over Cleveland at Cleveland Browns Stadium, the family of Redskins linebacker London Fletcher was involved in an altercation with Browns fans, a family member told newsnet5.com.

According to the family member, Fletcher's 57-year-old aunt Evette Robinson suffered a heart attack during the incident, which resulted in two of Fletcher's cousins as well as his nephew being arrested. Robinson was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center and her condition is unknown.

Deadspin posted a video uploaded to YouTube of the alleged incident. The video begins with a man getting detained by police and shows others in the area with London Fletcher jerseys.

NFL.com learned from a Cleveland City Jail official that arrests were made at Cleveland Browns Stadium, but could not confirm if any members of Fletcher's family were among them.

The 15-year veteran is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. But in his 15 years in the NFL, it was Fletcher's first game ever in Cleveland, per Zac Boyer of Fredericksburg.com.

Having missed practice for much of the week, Fletcher's status was uncertain before kickoff. Despite his hamstring injury, he was active and played extending his consecutive games-played streak to 232. He also came up with an interception and three solo tackles.

UPDATE: London Fletcher went on the NFL Network on Monday morning and discussed the incident involving his family.

"I'm from Cleveland. I know Browns fans. They're rabid fans and they love their team, but I guess in the stadium, (my family was) being harassed," he said. "The situation that led to people being arrested was stadium security. One of the stadium security guys assaulted one of my family members. So instead of diffusing the situation, he escalated the situation."

Fletcher also said his aunt did not suffer a heart attack, but was hospitalized with neck injuries.
