The Windy City is home to many things: deep-dish pizza, Oprah's empire and Michelle Obama's favorite boutique, Ikram. But it's also home to 2012's most popular neighborhood in America, according to Realtor.com.
As the year comes to an end, the real estate website has complied a list of America’s hottest neighborhoods of 2012, and being partial to New York City, we thought it would be on the top of the list, but it's Old Town, Chicago that takes the cake. Realtor.com collects the information by looking for the most-searched areas by zip codes on the site.
