'Fly High Angels': Americans Mourn The Newtown Shooting Victims

In the wake of the shooting on Friday in Newtown, Conn., that left 20 students and six staff members dead at Sandy Hook Elementary, Americans have shown their grief and shock in a number of ways. Flags will remain at half-staff throughout the country until Tuesday evening. People are wearing green and white, the colors of the elementary school, to show support for the Newtown community. And memorials to the victims, especially the children, are appearing everywhere.

We've collected some photos below that show how people and communities are mourning this tragedy, and we'll continue to update this post as more pictures come in.
