Rihanna and Chris Brown may look very much like a couple on Instagram, but according to Karrueche Tran's friend, singer Christina Milian, Karrueche is still his girlfriend.
Milian stopped by "The Wendy Williams Show" and dished on what she knows about Brown and Tran's relationship, revealing that the model is dating the R&B singer.
"You know what, from what I've always known, she's his girlfriend," Milian told Williams on Friday. "And that's where it lies for me. I see everything in the media. I really don't get into the detail of it, but I think everybody has their own life and how they deal with things. They have the right to handle it how they want." Adding, "I think they make a great couple."
When Williams asked the singer about rumors Rihanna and Brown are planning a secret New Year's Eve wedding, Milian said, laughing, "It could be a big party. Who knows? Karrueche might be there."
The gossip mill has been churning with rumors of a Brown-Tran reunion.
“He tells her he loves her and wants her and she goes for it all the time,” a source told Hollywood Life of Brown and Tran. “He’s sweet and nice to her all the time but he just won’t commit. So for now, she’s cool with everything. She’s cool with sneaking around, she’s cool with sharing him and everything else.”
Things between Rihanna and Brown do seem rocky these days, if the "Diamonds" singer's Twitter is any indication. On Dec. 11, Rihanna reportedly unleashed a series of angry tweets after Brown was visited by Tran in Paris.
In October, Brown announced he and the model-turned-designer had split after over a year of dating. "I have decided to be single to focus on my career," he told Us Weekly. "I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Since then, Brown and Rihanna have been spotted kissing at a club, hitting up a Jay-Z concert and spending time together in Europe.
