Coachella 2013 Rumors: Rolling Stones, Daft Punk, Phoenix And Yeah Yeah Yeahs To Play?

Coachella Rumors! Did Ticket Site Accidentally Leak Lineup?

Coachella festival-goers may have gotten an accidental peek at the 2013 lineup courtesy of Songkick, an event ticket site whose tagline is, "Be The First To Know About Concerts."

The event aggregator apparently sent their subscribers an email blast about Coachella 2013 and listed the bands Daft Punk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Rolling Stones and Phoenix, reports music blog Pretty Much Amazing. See a screenshot of the email alert.

Was it a mistake? A hoax? A fire drill gone wrong? Pretty Much Amazing points out that The Rolling Stones had already been accidentally linked to Coachella 2013 because the band's own phone app briefly listed a concert for April 12, 2013. The bands Phoenix and Yeah Yeah Yeahs also have new albums coming out in Spring 2013, which makes their appearance at Coachella likely, notes the music blog.

The Huffington Post has reached out to Songkick for an explanation and will update this story if they respond.

As always, Coachella 2013 will announce the hotly-anticipated lineup sometime in January. The music festival is scheduled for April 12-14 and April 19-21, and this is the second year that the music festival will repeat itself for an additional weekend. In 2012, over 80,000 people attended Coachella.
