Wade Boggs Dancing: MLB Hall of Famer Busts a Move During Thunder-Spurs Game

Baseball Hall Of Famer Shows Off Dance Moves At NBA Game

Athletes are never shy about showing off their dance moves, but rarely are we treated to such a show by members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Fortunately, Wade Boggs has come to the rescue to fill this void.

The former Red Sox great was in attendance at the game between the Thunder and the Spurs on Monday night, and certainly didn't disappoint. When the announcer at Chesapeake Energy Arena alerted the audience to his presence, Boggs broke into an impromptu dance, reminding us of why, for the most part, athletes should just stick to sports.

In the words of Billie Holliday, "He ain't got rhythm."

Just what motivated Boggs to showcase his dancing remains unclear. Perhaps his stop in Oklahoma City was part of another 64-beer road trip. Or, as BuzzFeed points out, maybe he was inspired by Dancing Gino, the star of an old American Bandstand clip that's played during Celtics games and who bears a striking resemblance to the MLB legend.

Regardless, Boggs didn't quite come close to rivaling the moves of Omar Vizquel, who broke out into dugout dance during a rain delay at Fenway Park back in June.
