The 2013 New Year's lights made their way to Midtown Wednesday. The "lucky" number 13 will be added to New York's famous crystal ball, set to drop in Times Square on December 31st.
President of the Times Square Alliance Tim Hopkins acknowledged the number 13 could potentially rile up some superstitious New Yorkers, but assured, "We think 2013 will be an amazing year."
