Howard Stern may want Rosie O'Donnell next to him on the "America's Got Talent" panel, but NBC said there are no plans for that happening. According to Deadline.com, NBC is not in talks with O'Donnell and there are no plans for her to be a judge on the upcoming season of the talent competition.

The Huffington Post first reported Stern's desires to have O'Donnell as an "AGT" judge on December 17. "Rosie and Howard have had a tough past but now they are great friends," a friend of Stern's told The Huffington Post. "He thinks she is a great talent and will bring a new energy to that show."

"I am very interested in doing 'America’s Got Talent' with Howard Stern and I am talking to them," O'Donnell told "The New York Observer." "Let’s see how that works."

O'Donnell, who recently hosted a primetime talk show on OWN, will be seen playing herself in an upcoming episode of NBC's "Smash."
