Remove Ink Stains With Hand Sanitizer To Avoid An Embarrassing Situation

It’s actually pretty amazing.

We’ve all had the unfortunate experience of having a pen explode on us. Not only is it embarrassing, but it’s also nerve-wracking because you never know if the mark will come out of your clothes. Luckily, Jill from One Good Thing By Jillee, found an easy solution to remove ink stains from fabric.

All you have to do is cover the stain with hand sanitizer. The blogger used Purell with aloe. Then, allow the gel to set for 10 minutes. Next, clean the fabric as normal in a washing machine. Just be sure to use hot water. After it’s done washing the mark should be gone.

Much like the blogger, we were surprised to hear that this trick actually worked. So this is just another new use for something ordinary that we can add to our fabulous list of unusual cleaning tips. Of course, it’s important to check the cleaning instructions for the material before you try this trick.
