Will Fahey, Teen With Cerebral Palsy, Makes His Football Dreams Come True

If you're searching for an uplifting story this holiday weekend, look no further than this report from CBS News about an incredible teen who made his dreams come true -- against what seemed like insurmountable odds.

Will Fahey, 17, is a football superfan. Unfortunately, the teen was born with cerebral palsy and the school he attends -- which caters to students with severe developmental disabilities -- does not have a football team. So, for the past six years, he has supported his favorite local high school team, the Wellesley Raiders, and has barely missed a single game (including away games). "[Football] is my passion," Will told CBS News. "My dad did it in high school."

Eventually, the coaching team took notice. For a few years the Wellesley Raiders coaching staff has allowed him to participate in their practices. While Will spends most of his days in a wheelchair because walking is often painful, he gets up from his chair for practices and is able to run in short spurts.

Earlier in the fall, the team decided to do something even bigger to make Will's dream of being part of the team come true. In the Raiders' final homegame of the season, the coaches agreed to let Will take the first snap of the game as a player.
