Vincent Irizarry will reprise his role on "All My Children" ... if the show is revived online. The actor posted the news on his official Facebook page.

"Happy to share that I just signed on with Prospect Park for the 'All My Children' reboot! Excited to bring dastardly Dr. David back to life, as he did for so many others, and to see my dear friends in Pine Valley once again," Irizarry wrote.

Reports of "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" returning first surfaced in December 2012, about a year after the original plans to move the soaps online were quashed. A spokesperson for SAG-AFTRA confirmed to The Huffington Post that the actor's union had reached a deal with Prospect Park, allowing for actors to return.

"Let’s all keep our fingers crossed together that it becomes a reality," Irizarry wrote.

Irizarry played Dr. David Hayward on "All My Children" from 1997 until the show ended in September 2011. According to "Soap Opera Digest," Jennifer Pepperman will serve as executive producer on "One Life to Live" if the show is revived. Pepperman was formerly a consulting producer on the soap and replaces Frank Valentini who now serves as executive producer on "General Hospital."

Prospect Park hasn't made any official announcement regarding the status of the two shows.
