‘Mary Tyler Moore Show' House Featured In The Classic Sitcom Is For Sale (PHOTOS)

We like to think that we live just like Mary Richards. You know, hard-working women trying to make it in a newsroom. The only thing missing from our lives though, is the fabulous Victorian home where Richards and her friends would galavant when they weren't at work. But now, we can actually live like one of our favorite television characters as the Minneapolis house that was used as the exterior shot in the opening credit of the “Mary Tyler Moore Show,” is for sale.

In the show, Richards lived above her landlord Phyllis Lindstrom in the top apartment while her best friend Rhoda Morgenstern lived in the attic.

In real life, the home, which has been referred to as Minnesota’s version of Graceland, is currently listed by Coldwell Banker for a cool $2.8 million. And though there aren’t actually apartments in this 9,500-square-foot abode, there are seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. There’s also a gorgeous kitchen that looks straight out of Country Living magazine, with granite countertops, hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances.

While the price is a little out of our range, we certainly don’t mind click through the beautiful photos of the home while we whistle “Love Is All Around.”
