Ronald Reagan's Former Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles Home For Sale For $4.99 Million

We wish we could!

It's always fascinating to see where presidents lived before the White House, when they were just ordinary people. But when the president was a successful actor in his previous life, like Ronald Reagan, you can bet his former home wasn't so ordinary.

The 4,764-square-foot ranch the Reagans used to own, which is for sale for $4.99 million, is located in the Pacific Palisades area of LA. It sits on almost two-thirds of an acre, perched on top of a hill that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the entire city of LA.

CNN Money reports that GE gave the home to Reagan to thank him for helping reel in spectacular ratings for "General Electric Theater," a tv anthology Reagan hosted from 1954 to 1962.

And GE definitely delivered a home fit for a celeb. This four-bedroom four-bath estate also boasts a long, gated driveway, a patio and pool area and a gorgeous stone fireplace. The entire home is open and airy, with high ceilings and large windows and doors to let in the beautiful California sunshine and capitalize on the breathtaking views.
