Katie Couric Style Evolution: From Boxy Pantsuits To Body-Conscious Dresses (PHOTOS)

You Won't Believe How Sexy She Has Become!

Katie Couric is one busy lady. Between hosting "Katie," her daytime talk show, serving as a special correspondant to ABC News and raising two daughters, we don't know how she fits in time to sleep. Couric's credentials are just as impressive as her current gigs: The Virginia native anchored the CBS Evening News as the first solo female anchor for an evening news program; reported for "60 Minutes" and hosted "Today." We've loved Couric since she graced our TV screens every morning on "Today" with her wide smile and easy-going personality, and even more so after her game-changing interview with Sarah Palin in 2008.

Couric started as a journalist at the ABC News bureau in Washington, D.C., and she joined "Today" in 1989. Despite her sunny disposition, Couric favored structured, boxy pantsuits and a feathered hairstyle in the early days of her career. Off the job, Couric was seen with her family wearing jeans and oxford-style tops. But things have changed. Since launching her eponymous talk show in September 2012, her style has become more daring. She's been spotted in body-conscious, yet elegant leather shift dresses, peplum tops and platform heels.

As she celebrates her 56th birthday on Jan. 7th, we are taking a look back at some of her most fabulous (and not so fabulous) looks.
