Reuse A Tissue Box As A Garbage Bin

We wish we thought of it ourselves!

It’s officially cold season. And that means we’ll be going through a lot of tissues. But it seems like such a waste to throw the boxes away, doesn’t it? So we did a little research and found a great suggestion from Thrifty Fun reader pine4 on how to reuse tissue boxes.

These cardboard holders can be used as a garbage bin. All you have to do is keep the box after all the paper is gone and place it underneath the kitchen or bathroom sink for all small trash like scraps and Q-tips. The reader also recommends setting an empty box right on your desk as a convenient trash holder.

What a great way to give new purpose to these little receptacles and keep your home and the earth a little cleaner!
