"Bones" has been renewed for a Season 9 on Fox.
The network made the official announcement at its 2013 Television Critics Association panel. However, series star David Boreanaz previously let the cat out of the bag on Twitter in December.
"Bones" stars Boreanaz as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth and Emily Deschanel Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan. Now in its eighth season, the show has maintaiend steady ratings and has a healthy fanbase. The Season 8 premiere brought in about 8 million viewers.
"Bones" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
