An advocacy group is on the hunt for the top 10 corporations that partner with veteran-owned businesses.

The National Veteran-Owned Business Association unveiled its annual survey on Tuesday that determines which corporations engage most effectively with the country’s 3 million businesses owned by vets.

The survey assesses how well companies rely on veteran-owned businesses as vendors and also how well they incorporate them into their supplier network, NBC reports.

“In a tough economy, corporate America is eager to partner with business leaders who embody those intangibles combined with exemplary skills and the dedication needed to contribute to overall economic success," NaVOBA President Chris Hale said in a release.

The top 10 will be published in the April issue Vetrepreneur magazine.

A few companies that made it to the 2012 list include Comcast Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, Life Technologies and Mack Trucks, Inc.

Kevin Flaherty, president of Mack Trucks, said in a press release that his company partners with veteran-owned businesses in a number of areas, including central office functions, engineering and manufacturing.

“We believe there is great strength in diversity,” Flaherty said in a press release, “and that it allows us to forge stronger partnerships in our communities and around the globe.”
