'Parks And Recreation': Ben's Bachelor Party Sees A Surprise Appearance From Newt Gingrich (PHOTOS)

FIRST LOOK: Newt Gingrich Shows Up To Ben's Bachelor Party On 'Parks'

Ben's bachelor party will be featured on "Parks and Recreation's" winter premiere next week and the big night sees a cameo from Newt Gingrich.

NBC has released the first photos from the episode, titled "Two Parties." They appear to show Gingrich arriving at the restaurant where Ben (Adam Scott), Tom (Aziz Ansari), Andy (Chris Pratt), Jerry (Jim O'Heir), Chris (Rob Lowe) and Ron (Nick Offerman) are having dinner before a night out clubbing and eating ice cream.

Gingrich's "Parks and Recreation" cameo happened by chance while the NBC comedy was filming on location in Indianapolis at St. Elmo Steak House and ran into the former Speaker of the House.

"Parks and Rec" co-creator Mike Schur, the episode's writer and director, had a quick meeting and wrote Gingrich into the script. "You can't pass up on an opportunity like that," "Schur told the Indianapolis Star.

Gingrich becomes just the latest politician to guest-star on "Parks" Season 5. Vice President Joe Biden and Senators John McCain, Barbara Boxer and Olympia Snowe all appeared on the comedy earlier in the season.

Elsewhere in the episode, Leslie (Amy Poehler) has a bachelorette party with the ladies -- penis straws included -- and it looks like April (Aubrey Plaza) enjoys herself a little too much.

Check out the pictures and read the official episode description of "Two Parties" below and tune in to NBC for the midseason premiere of "Parks and Recreation" (Thursday, January 17 at 8:30 p.m. EST ) with Gingrich's cameo.

Ann (Rashida Jones) throws a bachelorette party for Leslie (Amy Poehler) but her plans are derailed when Councilman Jamm interferes. Chris (Rob Lowe) throws a game night at Ben's (Adam Scott) but things take a turn when he realizes none of the guys ever had their own bachelor parties.
