Julianne Moore has won the award for Best Actress In A Miniseries.

The award went to Moore for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO's "Game Change." She beat out Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Sienna Miller and Sigourney Weaver.

"My children will be so relieved!" Moore said in her acceptance speech. The actress thanked Tina Fey, who portrayed the politician on "Saturday Night Live," and talk show host Katie Couric.

Kate Winslet took home the award last year for her performance in "Mildred Pierce," marking her third Golden Globe.

Actresses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the 2013 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills.
