How To Peel Kiwi Fruit With A Spoon (VIDEO)

You'll need a spoon for this trick.

The kiwi makes you work get to the goods inside. You have to peel back a layer of prickly brown skin -- unless you're hardcore enough to bite through it -- before you can eat the fruit. But since the kiwi is so small, peeling it usually means you lose half of the fruit in the process.

If you master the kiwi-peeling trick (a.k.a., know how to use a spoon) your troublsome kiwi-peeling days will be behind you. It's really simple to do. Cut half an inch off the ends of the kiwi. Take a soup spoon and insert it right between the fruit and the peel. Gently scoop out the flesh in a circular motion being careful to stay as close to the peel as possible without breaking it. If that sounds complicated watch the video above and you'll see how simple it is.
