The winners of the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced and Christoph Waltz took home the statue for Best Supporting Actor.

The nominees for Best Supporting Actor were Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln"), Christoph Waltz ("Django Unchained"), Alan Arkin ("Argo"), Leonardo DiCaprio ("Django Unchained") and Philip Seymour Hoffman ("The Master").

Each film in the category was nominated for multiple awards, with Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln," leading with seven nominations. In addition to Jones' nomination for Best Supporting Actor, "Lincoln" also received nominations for Best Motion Picture - Drama, Best Actor - Drama, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Original Score.

The 70th annual Golden Globes took place at Beverly Hills' Beverly Hilton Hotel. "SNL" alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the awards show on on Jan. 13, 2013.
