"Amour" was named the 2013 Golden Globe winner for Best Foreign Language Film at Sunday's awards broadcast.
The famously difficult-to-watch Austrian film beat out "A Royal Affair" (Denmark), "The Intouchables" (France), "Kon-Tiki" (Norway/UK/Denmark) and "Rust and Bone" (France).
Last year, Iran's "A Separation" took this category.
Complete nominee lists are available at boththe Golden Globes website and HuffPost's earlier coverage.
The Golden Globes are voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Per the Globes website, the group was found during World War II. More about the organization can be found here.
