Rumors that Anne Hathaway might be pregnant spread like wildfire at the Golden Globe Awards, but the "Les Miserables" actress isn't taking on the role of mom just yet.

E! host Giuliana Rancic spilled the Hathaway pregnancy rumor while covering the red carpet before the event on Sunday.

"Rumors are that Anne Hathaway may be pregnant," said Rancic, while hosting E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet," according to OMG! from Yahoo!. “That’s the buzz on the street right now, which, if true that may be the ultimate award season good luck charm."

She continues, "Just ask Natalie Portman who two years swept the award season for her work in 'Black Swan' while she was pregnant with her first child. Also Rachel Weisz had a bump while picking up hardware for 'The Constant Gardener' in 2006 and Catherine Zeta Jones in 2003, who was just about ready to pop."

The news then spread to Twitter.

Rancic isn't the first to question if the 30-year-old Hathaway is expecting. Life & Style recently ran a story claiming that the "Les Miserables" star is ready to get pregnant and start a family.

But Newlyweds Hathaway and Adam Schulman, who married on Sept. 29 in a private California ceremony, don't have a baby on the way just yet.

"She's not pregnant," Hathaway's spokesperson told the Daily Mail, dismissing the gossip. Although she might have future plans, "that doesn’t mean she is adopting immediately or looking to get pregnant right away," her rep told RumorFix.

The 30-year-old does hope to have children eventually. In an interview with the Telegraph, Hathaway talked about having babies on the brain.

"I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16," she said. "I’m 30 and I want to have a family of a certain size. Look, I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know? I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special. I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby."
