Ish Smith Jumps Over John Wall, Then Blocks Him: Wizards Star Responds With Crossover (VIDEOS)

WATCH: 'Leapfrog Block,' Crossover Highlight Wall-Smith Battle

John Wall and Ish Smith had quite the battle on Monday night. Oh by the way, John Wall is back.

Early in the second quarter, Wall nearly got the best of the Magic guard with a pump fake under the basket. Smith bit on the fake and literally jumped over Wall. But as the Wizards star went up for the layup, Smith managed to block the shot as he turned around.

Smith's extremely athletic play would probably be the highlight of the game (maybe it still is) if his Magic didn't lose by 29 to the Wizards and Wall didn't break his ankles later in the game.

Wall went one on one with Smith in the final seconds of the third quarter. He first dribbled the ball to the top of the key, then brought the ball behind his back, faking out Smith and causing him to fall backwards. As the defense collapsed on him, Wall delivered a quick pass to Kevin Saraphin who threw down a two-handed dunk to end the quarter.

Wall finished with 12 points and six assists in 20 minutes as the Wizards went on to win their third straight game.
