Matt Damon is headed to "House Of Lies."

According to THR, the Oscar winner will be playing himself on the Showtime series. On the episode, Damon will rally Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell's characters to start a charity to compete with George Clooney.

Cheadle won a Golden Globe for his performance on "House Of Lies."

John Hannah has been cast in "Elementary."Hannah will play Rhys, a drug dealer from Sherlock's (Johnny Lee Miller) past. [TV Guide]

Michelle Monaghan has joined the "True Detective" cast. The "Mission: Impossible" actress will play Maggie Hart, Martin’s (Woody Harrelson) wife, who has to make a tough decision that has "long-reaching and devastating consequences."

Kin Shriner is headed back to "General Hospital." Shriner will reportedly reprise his role as Scotty Baldwin on Feb. 19, just before the return of his wife, played by Genie Francis. [TV Guide]
