In an awards season jam-packed with great movies and television, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association definitely had its work cut out for itself when it came time to decide the 2013 Golden Globe winners.

Post 50 actors and actresses were among the top winners at the awards ceremony, taking home awards for best dramatic performance by an actor (Daniel Day-Lewis, 55, as if we had any doubt his indomitable "Lincoln" wouldn't be honored) and best supporting actress in a series (Maggie Smith, 78, as the Dowager Countess on "Downton Abbey").

One of the night's most buzzed about moments came from a post 50 actress: Jodie Foster's acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille award was also a chance for the actress to show her personal side to the masses -- she came out and shouted "I'm 50!"
