Maggie Smith is sticking with "Downton Abbey," at least for Season 4, according to TVLine.

"Downton Abbey" executive producer Gareth Neame confirmed Smith's involvement to the website.

News of Smith's return come after several months of speculation about her involvement in the hit series. In July, "Downton" creator Julian Fellowes told TVLine Smith was still not contracted for the new season. Smith recently picked up a Golden Globe and Emmy for her work on the ITV/Masterpiece series.

Season 3 of "Downton Abbey" is currently airing Sundays, 9 p.m. EST on PBS.
