Bill Clinton: I'm Hillary's 'First Husband,' She'll Live To 120 (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bill Clinton Jokes About Hillary's Future

Bill Clinton joked about Hillary Clinton's health -- and future romances -- Tuesday at the Clinton Foundation's Health Matters conference in Palm Springs in response to questions about his wife's political future.

The former president said that his wife, who was hospitalized recently with a blood clot in her brain, has "always been very, very healthy" -- so healthy, in fact, that he only sees himself as her first husband.

"She's still got time to have three more husbands after me," he said. "I think she'll live to be 120. And I always know that she's thinking about that whenever I am stubborn about something, in our constant quest at my self-improvement."

He also joked that Hillary refers to him as "her first husband," but got serious when discussing her future political plans.

"My advice is that she should rest up and decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life, and whether she thinks this is the right thing for her and for America and for the world," he said.

HuffPost Live hosts Alicia Menendez and Marc Lamont Hill were joined by HuffPost's Zach Carter to discuss Clinton's remarks, as well as what they might mean for his wife's political future.
