Charlie Sheen: 'Anger Management' Hired My Dad To Keep An Eye On Me

With "Anger Management" in production on the 90 episodes FX commissioned after the initial ten, Charlie Sheen is very busy. Nevertheless, he took some time out to talk about working on the show on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," particularly how much fun he's having working alongside his father, Martin Sheen.

"I think they hired him to keep an eye on me," the younger Sheen said.

Apparently, Sheen still gets starstruck at times when working with his father. "It’s so cool when like, Captain Willard from 'Apocalypse,' turns to you and says, 'How should I play this line?'" he said.

But they don't have a lot of time to relax and enjoy the experience. According to Sheen, they film two episodes a week, and he can barely remember what happened in them until he sees them on television. Plus, he indicated there's already talk of expanding the order beyond the 90 they're working on now.

"Anger Management" returns to FX on Thursday, January 17 at 9 p.m. EST before settling into its regular 9:30 p.m. EST slot the next week. "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. EST on NBC.
