Chris Christie's 100th Town Hall Meeting Held Today

Before Sandy, there was the town hall.

Gov. Chris Christie’s public image, until the destructive superstorm, had been defined more than anything else by his regular rotation of town-hall meetings — visits to community centers, armories and churches where he brings his agenda to the public, nary a Democrat around to counter him, fields some questions from locals and, with YouTube on high alert, maybe hurls insults at a flustered foe.
