"Suits" returns on Thursday, January 17 (10 p.m. EST on USA) and with it comes a case that's particularly personal for Mike (Patrick J. Adams) -- a wealthy client turns to Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to represent her guilty son after a hit and run; the same circumstances that left Mike orphaned as a child.
Naturally, Harvey is dubious as to whether Mike can separate his emotions from his professional obligations, but as you'll see in HuffPost TV's exclusive clip above, our favorite fake lawyer insists that he can handle the pressure. Other problems on the horizon for Mike this week? One of Louis' (Rick Hoffman) potential new associates could jeopardize our legal whizkid's position in the firm, while Rachel (Meghan Markle) is still giving him the cold shoulder after finding him hooking up with ex-girlfriend Tess (Elisabeth Hower) in the midseason finale. As Patrick J. Adams told us when we caught up with him earlier this week, the drama's first two episodes back will show "Mike in a situation where he’s forced to become himself -- become a man," with all the hard life lessons that go with that evolution.
