Wondering why Rihanna's been absent from all the recent awards shows and red carpets? She's hard at work, we bet, preparing for her London Fashion Week debut.

The "We Found Love" songstress is presenting her first-ever collection with River Island, a U.K.-based retailer, at London Fashion Week in February.

Rihanna's collaboration with River Island, which one HuffPost staffer described to us as "Forever 21 except everything is $100," was confirmed back in July. "I've been wanting to design my own collection for some time," Rihanna said in a statement at the time. "River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family-run business also really appealed to me."

It also helps that Riri's been spending so much time in England recently: She's also got her own TV show, "Styled To Rock," which aired on the U.K.'s Sky Living Channel. The show is currently being adapted for the Style Network here in the U.S.

But before all that happens, Rihanna's got a fashion show to do! The Telegraph reports that the River Island collection will be presented on the runway on February 16, leading up to the line's March 5 debut in stores.

Curious? Peruse River Island's website while you twiddle your thumbs and wait for February 16 to come.
