MiniKISS Rocks Vegas ... There Was Just One Problem

MiniKISS may have become too big for their britches.

There's absolutely nothing more exciting in this world than watching MiniKISS, a group of dwarves dressed exactly like Gene Simmons and the KISS crew, take the stage -- especially at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday, the HuffPost Weird News team was there for the occasion, after having researched the legend -- and many, many YouTube videos -- of The Only KISS Cover Band That's Better Than KISS.

But the miniature hair metal band didn't deliver. Fans in the audience were outraged to find that the entire band appeared to be lip-synching, and instrument-synching -- with the exception of the drummer -- songs from the original KISS albums.

MiniKISS Rocks Las Vegas

One longtime fan, 36-year-old Brittany Fineman of Las Vegas, confirmed that she had seen MiniKISS do its own singing and instrumentation at previous shows. On Wednesday, she threw her hands up in the air in apparent frustration.

"This is so sad, nobody likes this pantomime crap," she told HuffPost Weird News before leaving the concert (video below).

That said, downplaying the greatness of MiniKISS is a tall order. Dressing in full gear, platforms and makeup, the group is known to bring down houses in a blaze of drunken KISS glory.

"It's been about 15 years of rocking, we love what we do, and the rest is KISStory, baby," little Simmons said before Wednesday's show.

Even the real KISS has given its endorsement to the little band. Does it matter whether they're lip-synching now? Check out the slideshow and video below.
