Tom Brady Slide: Was Patriots QB's Kick At Ed Reed A Dirty Play? (VIDEO/GIF/POLL)

VOTE: Was Tom Brady's Kung Fu Slide A Dirty Play?

Tom Brady looked less like the sort of two-time NFL MVP you might want to sell you comfortable boots than a Cobra Kai villain in the moments before halftime of the AFC Championship Game.

Sweep the leg, Tommy.

At the end of an ill-advised, short scramble in the final minute of the second quarter, Brady went into a slide, effectively ending the play before being tackled. Ravens safety Ed Reed attempted to leap clear over him, knowing that any contact he initiated would likely draw a flag. To the surprise of everyone -- and physical peril of Reed -- Brady kicked out his right foot as Reed flew over him, catching the Ravens' safety in the right leg. Luckily, Reed absorbed the kung fu quarterback's move without injury.

“You’ve got to keep them legs down,” Ravens safety Bernard Pollard said after the Ravens' 28-13 win, via CSNNE.com. “You’ve go to keep the legs down. We all know and understand what’s going on there. And as a quarterback, when you go to slide, we’re taught . . . we can’t do anything. When you come sliding, and your leg is up in the air trying to kick somebody, that’s bull crap.”

When Pollard, not exactly a guy with a sterling reputation when it comes to illegal hits, thinks that you're playing dirty then you might be in trouble. Ravens coach John Harbaugh certainly agreed with Pollard and could be seen calling for a penalty during the CBS broadcast. The reaction on Twitter tended toward the Ravens' point of view.

Take a look at those reactions and then let us know what you think.
