Timothy Olyphant Jokingly Drops Fake 'Justified' Spoiler On 'Conan' (VIDEO)

Timothy Olyphant's Fake 'Justified' Spoiler

Timothy Olyphant jokingly got ahead of himself during his appearance on "Conan." The star of "Justified" was previewing Tuesday night's episode when he seemed to drop a major fake spoiler ... in jest.

The moment came around the 3:45 mark in the video above, when Olyphant was teasing the next episode. "I don't want to spoil anything," he said. "The scene where my ex-wife is shot and killed, watch in the background, there's a hot dog truck, now I don't want to say ... but that is gonna pay off," he continued.

At that point, Conan O'Brien cut him off, reminding him that scene hadn't happened yet. Olyphant pretended to be confused and cursed that he'd let that secret drop. Still, he insisted "Justified" was worth watching anyway. "Ya know that 'Zero Dark Thirty?’ People know how that ends, and it’s a good movie," he quipped. "You know what, it's still a good show. You're gonna enjoy it."

While Olyphant seemed to be joking, the scenario he was describing is certainly possible. Natalie Zea, who plays his pregnant ex-wife on "Justified," is a regular castmember on Fox's "The Following." She could be pulling double-duty on both shows, or perhaps she actually won't be on Olyphant's show much longer.
