We're loving the DIY paint dipping trend we're seeing everywhere lately. Not only is it a fabulous way to give our crafts a bright pop of color, but it's an easy technique to master: Just dip and let dry! So when we saw these cute paint dipped bud vases made by Heather from 'Whipperberry' we had to share them as our craft of the day. She used this simple method to update plain glassware, but added a unique spin with a pearlescent tone-on-tone effect.
First she dipped the holders into a flat craft paint, and then into a pearlized paint in the same shade to get the look. And Heather's tutorial teaches you an easy way to line a cup with ziplock bags for easy cleanup. So go ahead and look for something around the house that could use a modern update and give it a try.
