It's been a rough month for Colorado politicians who bet on the Broncos.
Denver's Democratic Mayor Michael Hancock finally completed the second task of a bet with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake on Tuesday.Hancock, like Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper, bet on the Broncos in the Jan. 13 NFL divisional playoffs game and lost.
Under the terms of the bet, Hancock had to send Rawlings-Blake a box of dry aged "cowboy cut" rib eye steaks from Lombardi Brothers Meats and do Ray Lewis' signature game dance.
At the end of the dance to Nelly's "Hot In Herre," Hancock turns to the camera and says with a stern look on his face, "Good luck, Ray Ray," before getting back to work.
Hancock's spokeswoman Amber Miller said he initially had to put off the bet because he injured his leg "during pre-game warm-ups" at the National Western Stock Show.
