Alison Brie Talks About Chevy Chase Leaving 'Community' On 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

Alison Brie On Chevy Chase Leaving 'Community'

Alison Brie dropped by "Late Show" to talk up the long-awaited premiere of "Community" on NBC. Brie confirmed what everyone already knew: this will be her controversial co-star Chevy Chase's Chevy Chase's last season with the show.

"The fate of the show is still in the balance," Brie admitted, but should it return, it would be without Chase, who will appear in most, but not all, of the comedy's upcoming episodes. Chase left "Community" toward the end of production on Season 4.

Despite his very public departure, Brie said that she enjoyed working with him. She even shared a "caper" that Chase pulled her into.

"Chevy rolls up in a golf cart, looks at me and goes, 'Get in!'" Brie said. Of course, she did.

According to Brie, Chase then took her on a wild tour of the Paramount lot. The pair even rode through other productions, with Chase shouting the whole time, "Don't worry, I'm Chevy Chase!"

Tune in for the premiere of "Community" on Thursday, February 7 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Catch "Late Show with David Letterman" every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. EST on CBS.
