LOOK: This Random Act Will Warm Your Heart

Let your faith in humanity be restored yet again!

In a random act of kindness, a Texas A&M parent named Nancy returned a lost paycheck to its intended recipient, Sarah, penning a heartwarming letter that explains how she found the misplaced item.

Redditor BeardedAsian uploaded a photo of the handwritten letter Thursday, noting that her "friend lost her paycheck last week" and "got this in her mailbox this morning."

In the letter (below), Nancy explains that she was visiting her daughter when she found the lost paycheck on the ground. Assuming that Sarah worked hard for the money, she chose to return the check with warm regards.

To honor the many victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn., journalist Ann Curry encouraged her Twitter followers to commit 20 acts of kindness for strangers. While this doesn't seem to be the motive behind this mother's actions, the idea quickly spread across social media, and the number was upped to 26 acts -- one for each of those 26 children and adult who were killed during the mass shooting on Dec. 14.
