Pitchfork Festival 2013 Lineup: New Additions Of Angel Olsen, The Breeders, El-P And More Revealed

Pitchfork Music Festival Announces More Lineup Additions

Updated story

After releasing the first headliners of the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago's Union Park early February, the lineup continues to grow.

As many veteran favorites have done at festival's past, a seminal indie band will play one of its most notable albums in its entirety; this year, Kim Deal's The Breeders will play "Last Splash" for the fest.

R. Kelly, Bjork and Scottish "sad bastard" rockers Belle And Sebastian will headline the three-day July fest.

In January, the festival teased it would tweet the headliners, while the rest of the lineup of all 40 artists will be released in the next several weeks until the bill for the July 19-21 festival is complete.

It's a safe bet that forthcoming names on the bill will include at least a few acts Pitchfork Media has spilled significant digital ink on in the past year; previous Pitchfork darlings-cum-festival players have included Band Of Horses, Odd Future and Kendrick Lamar.

For this year's fest, holiday-priced three day passes ($95) were put on sale before Christmas, and a layaway program is also in effect. Regular three-day and single day passes are currently on sale.

The Pitchfork Music Festival is July 19-21 in Union Park in Chicago.
