Dan Gilbert has made a slight change to his strategy for wresting control of Detroit's Greektown Casino-Hotel.
In a Tuesday letter to Greektown Superholdings, a consortium of investors that owns the casino, a Gilbert-owned corporation said it will stop negotiating with the Greektown board to buy additional shares of the casino, and will instead try negotiating directly with the institutional investors and individuals who hold those shares.
