Yellowstone Cabin Hits The Market, May Be One Of Our Favorite Tiny Homes Ever (PHOTOS)

And it just hit the market.

Long before living in tiny homes became a 21st century fad, it was just how people lived. Which is why we're so intrigued by this historical artifact that just hit the market: an adorable 224-square-foot cabin from Yellowstone National Park.

At a bargain price of $37,500, this small home is a "rare piece of antiquity," according to Tiny House Listings. Located in Livingston, Montana, the exterior has been left untouched to preserve the history and appearance of the building. Inside, you’ll find hand hewn log siding, one bedroom, one bathroom and an awesome little kitchen -- can you say “in love?"

According to the National Park Service website, the U.S. Army constructed these shacks to provide facilities for troops "patrolling for poachers,” so this potential weekend getaway may have an interesting backstory.
