While both Harbaugh-coached teams in Super Bowl XLVII have been known for powerful defenses, it was the offenses of the Ravens and 49ers that made this a game to remember.

The over/under for total points scored in the game was 48, via Bovada, and both quarterbacks made sure that those who took the over didn't have to do too much worrying in the second half.

En route to earning MVP honors, Joe Flacco lit up the 49ers' defense, throwing for 287 yards and three touchdown passes. San Francisco's dual-threat quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, gave the Ravens a scare by leading San Francisco to three touchdown drives in the second half, one that he threw and one that he ran in.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, San Francisco's 31 points was tied for the most ever by a losing team in the Super Bowl. In fact, it was just the second time in Super Bowl history that both teams scored more than 30 points, per ProFootballTalk.
