The "NCIS: LA" spinoff is beefing up its cast with John Corbett and Miguel Ferrer.

According to EW, Corbett -- best known as Carrie Bradshaw's lost love Aidan on "Sex and the City" -- has joined the upcoming CBS spinoff as Roy Quaid, a former NCIS Special Agent and current analyst. Deadline, meanwhile, is reporting that current "NCIS: LA" cast member Miguel Ferrer has joined the show as a series regular.

In November, Deadline reported that the still-untitled pilot will be written and produced by "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA's" executive producer Shane Brennan and will focus on a mobile team of agents who live and work together while traveling the country solving crimes.
