Jon Stewart Realizes Obama Released Drone Docs Before He Mocked Him On 'The Daily Show' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Obama Embarrasses Stewart

After going "all in" with Wednesday's coverage slamming the Obama administration's memo that outlined the legal case for the controversial drone attacks that have assassinated American citizens suspected of terrorist activity, Jon Stewart was disappointed to find out Obama blindsided Stewart in a key point of his criticism.

When "The Daily Show" taped at around 6:30 on Wednesday, Stewart called for the Obama administration to give congress access to those documents. Unfortunately for Stewart, the administration did just that between the time that "The Daily Show" was taped and by the time it aired on Comedy Central. Oops.

Somewhere, Bill O'Reilly is cackling at Stewart's audience of "stoned slackers" who totally thought the documents hadn't been released to congress for a few hours, when actually, they had.

Watch the clip above for Stewart's mea culpa.
