Anna Olson Full-Court Shot: Girls' High School Basketball Player's Shot Bounces In (VIDEO)

You Won't Believe How This Full-Court Shot Went In

We've seen plenty of shots from half-court and full-court hit nothing by nylon. But has there ever been a long-range heave to go in like this one?

According to the description accompanying this video on YouTube, which was posted on Sunday, the girl who launched the long-range shot is Anna Olson of Lewis-Palmer High School in Colorado.

After receiving a pass just inside her own free throw line at the end of the third quarter, Olson threw the ball to the opposite side of the court like a quarterback going deep, even though it appeared that she had more time to move the ball up the court. Her heave didn't cover the length of the court, bouncing just in front of the opposite free throw line. The ball then made its way back into the air, hit the front of the rim and bounced off the glass and fell through the hoop.

Should this count as a 3-pointer?
