Brittany Snow Talks Psychology, Health Kick, Egos And Being Fearless For HuffPost's #nofilter

Brittany Snow's Addiction

These days, our knowledge of celebrities too often originates with paparazzi images and snarky quotes by anonymous "insiders." After a while, it's easy to forget that stars are real people. That's why HuffPost Celebrity decided to launch its all-new #nofilter quick-fire question and answer series. Because how well do you know someone until they've shared their guiltiest pleasures?

Our girl crush Brittany Snow has already proved to us that she's a talented actress (catch her in theaters this coming June in her new movie "Syrup"), a great singer, an incredible photographer (are you following her on Instagram yet??), a fantastic role model who inspired others to believe in themselves through her movement "Love is Louder" and clearly -- a super stylish gal.

This time around, the 26-year-old "Pitch Perfect" actress took on our #nofilter challenge and showed off serious smarts, wits and brains.

We're crushing hard, girl.

What was the last great book you read? The last book that I read is really, really dorky, it sounds like I'm a total nerd, but I read "The 50 Classics of Psychology" ["50 Psychology Classics"]. I'm really into psychology and I want to be a psych major. It's a really big book that just breaks into categories every great psychologist and person who has studied different forms of it from over the years, all the way back to the 1800s.

What was the last birthday wish you made as you were blowing out the candles?I wish I could say "world peace" or something, but I don't think I wished that. Always I wish for another year to get to work in this business. Everyone always thinks it's like "once you get in..." but I just kind of want to see this thing moving, and still live here and have a fun year, so I always wish for a good next year.

What's the last song you downloaded?Probably the "Lord Huron" album, I love it, I downloaded all of their songs. And there's a band called "1975" that I really love. But then I also really love Kelly Clarkson's song "Catch My Breath," I'm into that too. I kind of go back and forth between new indie music and, like, totally awesome pop music.

Do you have any tattoos?I do. I have two. I have a ladybug on my wrist that I got when I was doing "John Tucker Must Die," and I have a tattoo on my ankle that's in Sanskrit that says "Fearless."

Who or what have you been jealous of lately?I've been trying to do this really big health kick so I'm doing all vegetables, fruit, I'm eating really clean and I'm not drinking and I'm not doing anything bad for the past two weeks, and I have another week and a half to go, so I'm trying to be really healthy for the time left. And my best friends went out last night and had a rager and they sent me all these pics and I'm so mad that I was at home reading with my dog, which is lovely, but still I kind of wanted to be there with them.

What movie could you watch over and over?So in classics, probably "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," I know every word in that movie. "Clueless" -- I know every word, and "Can't Hardly Wait" -- classic, classic movie. I have to watch all of those every now and then, completely.

What is your secret/hidden talent?I don't keep my talents very secret, I tell a lot of people about them, that's the problem. One of my secrets talents was glowsticking, but then I went on Conan and did it so it's not secret anymore. So... Maybe voices? I do voices and impressions. Don't ask me to do any right now because I'll fold under the pressure, but I do a lot of impressions. I can hear someone's voice once and I can pretty much mimic them. Not to make fun, but I can do an impression of them pretty well.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?Frozen yogurt. It's like an addiction, I don't know what's happening. "Top Chef," I have watched every single episode, and sleeping. It's definitely a guilty pleasure. I will sleep all day, I love staying in bed with my dog and reading and not getting up and checking my phone. And that gets me into trouble because I have things to do and that's not very productive.

What is your dating deal-breaker?Probably people who let their egos talk for them. I hate name-droppers, people that care about this business for the wrong reasons. I have no time for people being like "oh yeah, Will Ferrell, I met him blah blah blah," it's almost like a physical reaction -- my body goes "wha!" and then I move on.

What would people be surprised to know you've never done?I don't know what you'd find surprising ... But probably that I never really sang onstage by myself? That's a surprising thing, I'm a singer and I really only sang in group or in a production, but I've never sang onstage just me by myself in all my years. It's definitely on my bucket list to do, just stand up there -- except for karaoke but doesn't count, I've done that but it doesn't count. I think that would be one thing that I want to do which is surprising.

What happens in your recurring dream? The weird thing is that I don't really have a recurring dream, none that I know about. But I do have the same people in my dreams all the time, my best friend is always in my dreams, he's like in the backseat of the car I'm driving in or he's in the theater where I am. He's always there even if he doesn't do anything. And then my dog is always in my dreams, just running around. So it's good company actually.

If you could ask Kim Kardashian any question, what would it be?I would ask [the Kardashians], "Hey, have you guys ever thought about doing a reality show?" or "where do I know you guys from?" That's what I would ask. I would be joking obviously, I've watched their show before.
