Glenn Beck Announces Man In The Moon Event (VIDEO)

WATCH: Glenn Beck's Next Event Sounds Kind Of Weird

Glenn Beck announced his newest event on Monday: a summer show entitled "Man in the Moon."

Beck said that the show — scheduled for July 6 at the at the USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, Utah — is meant to help Americans "reclaim" the Fourth of July. He made the announcement on Monday, and lamented that the holiday centers around fireworks and hot dogs.

The Man on the Moon event will be different, according to Beck. He described the theme of the event as the "American story from the perspective of the man in the moon."

"The man on the moon is pretty angry about some of the choices he sees us making," Beck said.

The event will incorporate spoken word, video, music and special effects created by American Dream Labs, a Beck venture that focuses on implementing new technologies. Those special effects will include a "gigantic replica of the moon," "giant, robotic men walking through the audience" (the trailer has a glimpse of what to expect at the 1:55 mark) and "a fireworks display to recreate World War II."

Beck has organized a large-scale event every year since 2010. He held "Restoring Love" in Dallas last year, and held "Restoring Honor" in Jerusaleum and "Restoring Honor" in Washington, D.C. before that.
