An Organizing Tip That Will Keep Your Mail In Order

A Simple Trick To Avoid This Mess

We've been focusing on helping you de-stress your homes so you can stop worrying and start enjoying your spaces. And one tip we offered was to create a mail organizer in the kitchen to help you keep track of important papers and bills. There are many ways to create a storage system that works for you, but Wise Bread may have found the most impressive organizing tip yet for this problem area.

First, hammer two columns of nails into the inside of a cabinet door, approximately six inches appart. Then, stretch rubber bands between the horizontal pairs of nails and slip your pieces of mail behind the taut elastic. Apartment Therapy tried this trick by creating nine rows (head over to their site to see the finish product).

We already knew there were so many great uses for rubber bands, but we're really excited to learn that these little office supplies can help create some order in the kitchen too.
