Kobe Bryant Blocks LeBron James In 2013 NBA All-Star Game (VIDEO)

Kobe vs. LeBron

In the final minutes of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game, the Black Mamba defended King James, treating fans to a few memorable trips up and down the floor.

With the East down by eight under three minutes left, Bryant took on the task of defending the three-time MVP. LeBron tried to get by him and drove to his left from the right wing. James used a screen to get some separation from Bryant before taking a running jumper from a few feet inside the 3-point line.

Kobe rejected him. The block led to an easy one-handed dunk from Kevin Durant on a fast break.

A few possessions later, James tried to drive by Bryant again. This time he drove to hoop, but Bryant was all over him again and forced LeBron to put up a wild shot from the baseline.

Kobe rejected it out of bounds.

While LeBron ended up finishing with 10 more points than Kobe, the last few minutes might stick with NBA fans rather than the box score.
